I really need dentures but the pulling of teeth costs so much..it is hard to get the dentures even if the cost of them is not bad
Are there any Dentist%26#039;s that have good deals on pulling teeth in Tennessee?
Since you%26#039;re from Tennessee, just get your teeth pulled and don%26#039;t worry about getting dentures.
Reply:If you are in Nashville, there is a place near Baptist hospital called the Interfaith Dental Clinic, that charges according to your income.

Why is it so hard to find a certain game on yahoo, put that game in search, it gives alot of links, and then more %26amp; more links, without letting you open the game site, is like pulling teeth, and no idea, how to make it any easier. not just on yahoo search, but on all online searches, why?

Upper&lower front teeth protruding out. Do I need maxilofacial surg or partial denture after pulling teeth?
My front teeth alongwith the bone below it protruding out. I can%26#039;t go for orthodontic, since i%26#039;ve partial bridge already. I want my profile to be aethetically improved. I checked several websites. Now i%26#039;m in a confusion which to go for, whether maxillofacial surgery or simply pulling the 6 front teeth %26amp; 6 lower teeth and put a partial denture or just cutting the gum %26amp; put a denture. Can anyone advise which to go for?
Upper%26amp;lower front teeth protruding out. Do I need maxilofacial surg or partial denture after pulling teeth?
Why have you already lost teeth? With both upper AND lower teeth protruding it sounds not to be a skeletal problem but possibly a periodontal problem. Perhaps your teeth aren%26#039;t salvageable anyway?
You can%26#039;t get meaningful advice from websites. You have to see a dentist for an assessment and discussion. If he thinks it appropriate, then he will suggest an oral surgeon, but I really doubt that option is for you.
Within reason, save whatever teeth you can, because dentures aren%26#039;t suitable or comfortable for everyone, and implants are expensive.
Reply:i don%26#039;t think putting a denture will improve your aesthetics.moreover in your case,,it will create more problems.i think it is good to go for maxillofacial surgery and then you can try dentures
Reply:yes, maybe u need the vertical correction by maxillary and mandibular surgery..
no,, don%26#039;t pull out your anterior teeth, it%26#039;s better to have your natural teeth remain. you better fix your teeth fast, before it%26#039;s worse. yup, because your teeth are protrusif, it%26#039;s hard to keep your mouth close, so your oral cavity will be dry and the risk is tooth decay because of the salivary rate is low.
see a dentist to get more info
Reply:Your primary concern, which is more a %26#039;desire%26#039;, seem to improve the esthetics of your smile than any urgent need for a jaw surgery. You have not mentioned anything about having consulted any maxillofacial surgeon for real options from the angle of existence of a bridge in your oral region. Pulling 12 of your original teeth to fullfil your desire may not be the best of options. Orthognathic surgery may still be a better option in comparison. It would be only in the consult with an oral surgeon that you would know you require surgery in one jaw or both. The cost factor (range $15-25K) is equally important as I doubt insurance will give you any coverage as the surgery involved is of cosmetic nature. However, make more internet searches to find out who is offering affordable and best deal cosmetic orthognathic surgery options.

Does pulling teeth hurt?
i am due to pull 3 back top teeth this week .the dentist is going to give me a tablet to ease my tension.he also will rub some gel to numb my gums and then give injection.i am very frightened but hope to go through this. i will have to get dentures.i was only at the dentist a few times before but each time i had injection in hand and was concious but never felt anything or remembered.this time i cant get that this time as they dont do it anymore. .he says after taking this tablet i will feel relaxed as if i was after 10 vodkas.but i am wondering will i feel much while he is pulling.i am a very frightened of dentists .what can i expect.will it hurt or will i feel anything
Does pulling teeth hurt?
they usually numb it! they couldnt just let you sit there and take the pain!
still though i rather it be you than me!
Reply:yes da gum hurts most!!
Reply:Don%26#039;t worry! I%26#039;m petrified of the dentist after some terrible experiences with fillings when I was younger. I had two back teeth out last year though, and it didn%26#039;t hurt a bit, and it was over surprisingly quickly too. I think the dentist found it more stressful than I did.
Reply:My dentist would not be taking all three out at once, each tooth would be taken out seperately.
Reply:You wont feel a thing, the worry before hand is always the worst.
Reply:I hate the dentist but have had a few teeth pulled easy peasy you will be ok. Believe it or not im no teenager but went this year and had a tooth removed and had braces put on to straighten my bottom teeth. Must be an age thing. Now have to go every month to have braces replaced but will be worth it in the end.
Just remember after extration rinse your mouth with hot water and salt its good for stopping infection.
Reply:Well, most of what you%26#039;ll feel is afterward, once the numbing gel fades away. You will feel the pressure as he pulls the teeth out. It%26#039;s not the most pleasant feeling but there are far worst feelings...you%26#039;ll be fine!
Reply:i share your terror of dentists!! - having a tooth out is much less stressful than a filling.
once the injection kicks in..you wont feel a thing..you hear a bit of noise %26amp; it feels a bit odd - but there is no pain. important - if you are having a sedative pill...take somebody with you to take you home afterwards..you shouldnt be alone. good luck!!
Reply:The actual pulling of the tooth hurts a little briefly, but once they are out you won%26#039;t feel any pain until the numbness wears off,and by then you will be able to take painkillers. The worse pain is the first jab of the needle into your gum but that is more like stinging than pain and happens so quickly that it is over before you realise it.Just be brave it will be all over soon
Reply:I%26#039;d be surprised if he took all 3 teeth out at once.
I had 2 removed, had two injections and the needle must have been very sharp because I didn%26#039;t feel any pain. After about 10 minutes went back into the surgery, had teeth removed and didn%26#039;t feel anything.
When I got home there was a little pain because the anaesthetic was wearing off but not a big problem.

Pulling teeth out and braces.?
I would like to know the best way to pull out a wiggling tooth because i tried pulling it out, but it just won%26#039;t budge. Also, if you don%26#039;t have all your baby teeth pulled out, can you still get braces or do you have to wait?
Pulling teeth out and braces.?
Is it ready to come out? Depends on how much it%26#039;s wiggling... hehe... When I was younger, my godmother did the whole tying my tooth with string to a door then slamming it... OMG that was painful... I learnt that it was better to just loosen it with my tongue %26amp; eventually it came out.. Sometimes it hurt, but for some reason I was a freak %26amp; I enjoyed it??? I wouldn%26#039;t use your fingers too much %26#039;coz you can infect the gums around the new tooth.
Reply:no probs, hope it comes out soon if it%26#039;s bothering you!! :) Report It

Pulling teeth.?
What are points for? Do I have to pay for asking question? I intend to have all my treeth pulled and replaced or get false teeth. What kind of cost am I looking at and how long a process?
Pulling teeth.?
Why, why would you want to do that? Do whatever is possible to save as many of your natural teeth as possible. False teeth are a poor substitute for the real thing.
Reply:I can tell you the price I paid for pulling one tooth out. It is about $300-$350. As for implants it would be about $1500 a tooth. I don%26#039;t know about dentures though. That is just an estimate it could be more or less.
I hope you get to make a good decision about your teeth.
Take care.

Pulling teeth!?
my dad is getting all of his top teeth pulled for dentures... and everyone knows after the freezing wears off here comes the pain... what can we do to help him get through the pain for the next couple of days...
Pulling teeth!?
After the surgery the Dr will give him instructions. And pain meds. and maybe antibiotics. Under no circumstance do not let him suck from straw or smoke any drawing can brake the clots that form in the sockets and this is what is called a dry socket. Have him keep his denture in all night the first night because there will be some swelling and he won%26#039;t be able to get in the next day. After that rinsing with a pinch of salt warm water will sooth him. If he gets a sore spot call your Dr because they won%26#039;t go away by them selfs the Dr or tech need to releave his denture. I%26#039; m your Dr will give you all the right advise and good luck. It is really important that we try to keep all our teeth yes and if the Dr and your Father feel that this what is needed I wish you all the luck.
Reply:hmm I got all of my 4 wisdom pulled at once, and I took Lortab for a next week. But tell him not to use Vicadine as much, it is really bad for a spine nerves, and can ruin a nerve system
Reply:Tell him to take strong Paracetamol/Acetaminophen every few hours!
DO NOT let him take Asprin though, as this thins the blood and could be dangerous if the gums open and start bleeding. It%26#039;s not a good time for him, you%26#039;re probably best keeping out his way too as he will more than likely be a bit grumpy :+(
Reply:This thing called Norco works great. Also ice on the cheeks is good. drink through a straw and make sure all liquids are room temp or cool.
Reply:I wish he wouldn%26#039;t do this. Dentures are awful, tell him to consider something else. They will give him pain meds afterwards. The pain will subside in a week or so, he won%26#039;t be able to eat so make a lot of jello and pudding for him.
